IFBB Pro Nick Walker Wins the “New York Pro 2021” and qualified for the 2021 Mr. Olympia

The 2021 IFBB New York Pro took place Saturday, May 15th, at the Tampa Marriott, in Tampa, Florida. This is the complete results from this massive bodybuilding competition.

One of the biggest bodybuilding shows of the year went down this weekend, as athletes came out from around the world to compete at the New York Pro. This show is typically highly anticipated, and this year was not any different.

Due to the restrictions placed in various parts of the country, the event did not actually take place in New York like usual. Instead, it was moved to Florida for the second year in a row, this time going down in the Tampa Marriott.

Heading into this year’s New York Pro, there was a lot of anticipation for all of the divisions, but by far the one with the most intrigue came from the Open Division. Not only was this because of how popular this division is generally, but also because of the specific athletes that were taking part in the event this year.

Of course, there was the bitter rivalry between prospects Blessing Awodibu and Nick Walker, but that was far from the only thing to be excited for. There were also the likes of Hassan Mostafa, Justin Rodriguez, and even some lesser-known competitors from around the world, making this an exciting contest.

Aside from the Open Division, the 2021 IFBB New York Pro featured a slew of other top bodybuilders in a variety of divisions. Top to bottom, this show was well worth the watch, from the 212 Division to Classic Physique, and Women’s Bodybuilding.

By the time the weekend was over, there was a handful of new invitations handed out for the 2021 Mr. Olympia. It was a great show that completely lived up to the expectations that were in place before things went down, and if you bought it online, it was well worth the money.

Walker, along with eight other athletes, is now qualified for this year’s Mr. Olympia.

The New York Pro, one of the top contests in bodybuilding, has seen breakout performances from some of the most accomplished bodybuilders of all time. Past champions include Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, Phil Heath, Dexter Jackson, Kai Greene, and Juan Morel, among others. No one is guaranteed an Olympia win, of course, after taking the top spot that the NY Pro, but they are granted qualification to the big show and the spotlight.

This year, on May 15, 2021, it was Nick Walker who took the overall for the Men’s Open division. Nathan Epler won the 212 Division and Leah Dennie took first in Women’s Bodybuilding. Though the show has New York in the name, 2021 marks the second year the event took place in Tampa, FL due to the pandemic. Below is the full list of division winners and a recap of two fan-favorite divisions — Open and 212.
