The 2023 Mr. Olympia show returned to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando November 2nd – 5th for the third time in four years. The event took place in Las Vegas last year but returned East where Big Ramy won two in a row in 2020 and 2021.

This year, Big Ramy did not compete after a series of low placings and struggles during the 2023 season. However, Hadi Choopan took the stage to defend his title against Derek LunsfordDerek Lunsford won the 2023 Mr. Olympia and now has become the first bodybuilder to ever win an Olympia title in two different divisions. This year, Hadi Choopan, placed second. Samson Dauda placed third.

After finished third last year at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, “Nick Walker announced he will be out of the 2023 Mr. Olympia this year with a torn hamstring”. Walker finished runner up to Samson Dauda during the 2023 Arnold Classic.

Gillon entered as the favorite to reclaim her title but was pushed during prejudging by Jessica Reyes Padilla. She entered as the reigning Masters Olympia champion and showed that she will be a threat during prejudging. In the end, Gillon was too strong to be taken down and claimed her seventh consecutive title. Padilla finished as the runner-up as Lola Montez rounded out the top three.

Coelho took down Villegas last year and this seemed to be the matchup to watch following prejudging. And that was the case during the final as well. Villegas was determined to get her title back and did just that on Friday night. Zena Benta leaped into third place, over the likes of Brooke Walker who finished in fourth place. Anne-Lorraine Mohn rounded out the top five.

This would end up being the final three and this was the case last year as well.

How To Watch 2023 Olympia

The biggest weekend in bodybuilding is just days away and fans do not want to miss any of the action.

The schedule begins on Thursday afternoon with the Live Olympia Press Conference followed by the Meet The Olympians event at night. Prejudging will begin Friday morning with six divisions taking the stage. Men’s Open prejudging will take place after the first set of finals. Saturday will follow the same format for the remaining four divisions, including Pro Wheelchair where prejudging and finals will take place at once.

All of the action from the weekend will be available via pay-per-view for $74.99 on olympiaproductions.comAll events will also be available to watch back once completed as well. This includes the Amateur Olympia as well, which will take place on Wednesday.
