The 2024 Mr. Big Evolution Pro occurred on Sunday, Jul. 7, 2024, in Estoril, Portugal. It featured nine pro divisions with 2024 Olympia qualifications on the line. If they were not qualified, the winners could compete in their division’s world championship contest in Las Vegas, NV, on the weekend of Oct. 10-13, 2024.
Men’s Open: De Asha’s Triumph
In the highly anticipated Men’s Open division, De Asha showcased exceptional conditioning, muscularity, and overall presentation to secure the top spot. His victory not only earned him the Mr. Big Evolution Pro title but also a direct qualification for the prestigious Olympia.
The competition was fierce, with athletes like Nasser Mohammad, Marco Ruz, and Elivelton Morais putting up impressive displays. However, De Asha’s dominance was undeniable, and he left no doubt in the judges’ minds as to who deserved the crown.
The weekend’s main event was the Men’s Open division, which saw Nathan De Asha win his 12th pro title and earn the qualification to compete in the 60th edition of Mr. Olympia contest.

Men’s Open Winner — Nathan De Asha
De Asha had a tall task ahead of him by taking on two-time Arnold Classic champion William Bonac for the championship in this contest, but De Asha’s size served as an advantage. De Asha was also as ripped as ever to score his 12th pro win.
De Asha has qualified for the Olympia several times in his career but has not been on the Olympia stage since 2018 due to a combination of injuries and visa issues. If he can travel to Las Vegas, he will try to break into the top 10 for the third time in his career.
212 Bodybuilding Winner — Nasser Mohammad
Mohamed made his first appearance of the 2024 season and wasted no time locking up his 2024 Olympia spot by being the best out of 13 athletes in this contest. He received all first-place votes from the judges over runner-up Marco Ruz and third-place finisher Elivelton Morais. Mohammed hopes to improve his seventh-place finish from the 2023 Olympia.
Classic Physique Winner — Stephane Matala
Stephane Matala took the win and the 2024 Classic Physique Olympia qualification home to France. It was the first show of his second pro season. This is his second career pro win.
Matala won the 2023 Sheru Classic UK event but did not compete in the Olympia. So, if he makes it to Las Vegas in 2024, it will be his Olympia debut.
Men’s Physique Winner — Sidy Pouye
The Men’s Physique lineup had 28 competitors, the largest on the men’s side of the stage. Sidy Pouye had already won the 2024 Empro Classic Pro, which qualified him for the 2024 Olympia. Pouye won his second show of the season here, meaning no qualification was presented.
Women’s Bodybuilding Winner — Anastasia Leonova
The Ms. Olympia lineup received an addition thanks to Anastasia Leonova winning in Estoril. She is the 11th woman to qualify for that contest. She received a perfect score on the scorecards on her way to victory.
Figure Winner — Lena Ramsteiner
Ramsteiner did in Figure what Pouye did in Men’s Physique. She won the Empro Classic Pro and is Olympia-qualified. Thus, runner-up Anna Borin and third-place finisher Jenny Kurth must enter and win a different pro show before the Sept. 15, 2024, cutoff date to join Ramsteiner on the 2024 Olympia stage.
Bikini Winner — Ivi Escandar
The Bikini division had the largest field of the nine in this show, with 34 competitors. Out of those 34, Ivi Escandar stood head and shoulders above the rest. This is her second pro win and Olympia qualification, which came in her 2024 season debut.
Women’s Physique Winner — Caroline Alves Dos Santos
The 2023 Women’s Physique winner returned to defend her title successfully. Dos Santos cleared 14 opponents on her way to victory, including longtime competitor and runner-up Barbara Menage and third-place finisher Karla Nogueira.
Dos Santos could not compete in the 2023 Olympia. So, she will make her Olympia debut if she competes in October.
Wellness Winner — Juliana Mota
Juliana Mota won this show in 2021 but has been away from the stage since 2022. Her return to competition and this show was triumphant, as she left with her second pro win. She was the only winner of this show to represent the host country.
